The Mountfield Freedom 28 E is the perfect ride on mower for those with small to medium-sized gardens who are looking for alternative to petrol ride on mowers that is manoeuvrable, quiet and very user-friendly. Powered by the very latest E-power battery technology the 48V lithium-Ion batteries have been tested way beyond the industry standard to deliver a high-performance capacity and are still going strong after 600 charges. Engineered around 4 removable batteries that intelligently synchronise when mowing to create ample power and efficient run-times for a garden up to ½ acre in size. The batteries are interchangeable with the handheld products that feature in the freedom500 cordless range making this rider extremely versatile. The shock absorbing 72cm high-impact polymer cutting deck makes it a lot quieter than a traditional pressed steel deck shell with the added benefit of being non-corrosive. Two contra-rotating blades driven by separate electric motors ensure easy and safe operation. Grass cuttings are directed at high speed though a unique central grass duct into the 150-litre rear-mounted grass collector. Other features include a washing port allowing for easy maintenance of the underside of the deck along with 6 cutting height positions ranging from 30–80mm. This model comes with 4 x 48V 5Ah batteries and charger included.
